  • LEO FRANK

    Josh Epstein's work as a writer, producer and actor has taken him all over the world. Recently he wrote Astrid’s Deathlist for Paramount Pictures, a medieval thriller comedy in collaboration with Good Question Media and Elevation, and a re-imagining of Youngblood with Aircraft Pictures. He has re-written multiple studio features, EP’d both film and TV and is currently developing television, all with partner Kyle Rideout. Their last film Adventures in Public School stars Judy Greer, premiered at TIFF, opened TIFF Top Ten with theatricals in CDN/US/UK/JPN before landing on Netflix, Crave, and HBO. Eadweard, their first film won 5 Audience Choice Awards, had 15 Leo nominations and has been distributed around the world.

    As an actor Josh has won 4 Jessies, been nominated for 3 Dora Awards and is the recipient of the Most Promising Actor Award at the Stratford Festival.     He is the producer facilitator for the National Screen Institute, a mentor for the Whistler Film Festival producer’s lab, Telus Storyhive and he’s hosted panels for VIFF, WFF and Women in Film, recently directed the series finale of an upcoming short form series The Dressing Room, and won the Ovation Award for directing Cabaret at Studio 58.

  • LUCILLE FRANK

    Miranda MacDougall (she/her) is a Jessie award- nominated actor and writer, as well as an award winning film director and producer. With a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor, Miranda has trained and performed across Canada and the United States. Select stage credits: The Sound of Music, Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol (The Arts Club, Vancouver) Of Mice and Men (Unit 102, Toronto), In Response to Alabama (Pi Theatre) City of Angels (PIT Collective), and her original one woman show Glassjaw. Miranda works regularly as an actor in film and television, with some exciting releases on the horizon. As a film director, she has written and directed a slew of narrative works, music videos and commercials, recently co-producing and directing the feature documentary “In The Land of Dreamers” for CBC’s Absolutely Canadian program. Miranda is grateful to be working and living on the unceded and ancestral territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations.
